Gene Hackman

Gene Hackman was a great actor. This is a drawing of him from Francis Ford Coppola’s The Conversation. Some of my other favorite movies he was in include Unforgiven, The Quick and the Dead, and Young Frankenstein. I love the dialogue exchange between his and Danny DeVito’s character in David Mamet’s Heist. Hackman’s character is pointing a shotgun at DeVito:

DeVito: Don’t you want to hear my last words?

Hackman: I just did.

Laser Guns Movie Props and VFX

I painted some more laser guns to use a props for my science-fiction/comedy feature that I plan on shooting this year. I’m now using Davinci Resolve to do VFX because the previous program I used is no longer being supported so I’m getting used to doing node based VFX.
