no problem dood :)

just keep 'em coming, i'll keep giving you props

btw i saw children of men

amazing war scenes but the resolution with them going to point b was a let down, i know that wasn't the point but i wanted an actual ending

it was like JMS wrote it :)

what's your thoughts?

Great Pictures, many compliments!

Niccolò - Grazie!

comickxguy - it was an ending. What more did you want? Clive Owen got the girl to the ship like he said he would. It's a brilliant film.

SPOILER WARNING:

CHILDREN OF MEN

children of men, should have been called: THE CHILD OF MEN

I WILL BE GETTING THIS

ya know just by questioning this film, i've come to understand it even more than just "seeing" it

WOW! IT IS BRILLIANT! I WAS WRONG ! THE DIRECTOR IS A GENIUS!

i get it, getting on a ship/ark called "tomorrow", a possible future, a future based upon faith with a mary-like girl who is giving birth to a "cure" and we already know what happens after the film because its biblical

but doesn't explain what happens in that world, mainly to do with the war, apparently that one stops

also "the war" could also mean hell, war IS hell, so the war between heaven and hell stops!

this is what i liked:

the war scenes

the set-up about the war in the background and some talk (you can really tell that the director really thought that part out)

owen (he rocks in sin city) i personally didn't get inside owen's character's head, i would have liked to, i probably would have enjoyed his part more

(btw have you seen 3:10 to yuma?, now THAT was a good film

in that film crowe's character atleast tells the viewer that he might not get there but he leaves with a look of that he thinks he will 10 - 20 minutes before the end

i didn't get that in this film, it might be there but i missed it)

EXCUSE SOME OF THE CRAP BELOW, BY NOT UNDERSTANDING THE WHY OF THE FILM, I STARTED TO ANSWER MY OWN QUESTIONS ABOUT THE FILM AND IN DOING SO I WAS WRONG

everyone knows they will make it to the ship "tomorrow" but the viewer still doesn't know she and the baby would get there safe to the human project, they only know that she was on a ship going towards the human project

which is not on the ship, anotherwards there is more story unfinished

if there is no "there", then there is no human project, no plot

why assume that its there, faith right?

i do understand the biblical mary aspect too

character a gets character b onto ship, that's it

she got on a ship possibly going towards "tomorrow", a possible future

what if they take a wrong turn to skull island :) ? the viewer doen't know about that since it wasn't shown, they just assume

they got to the car but didn't drive to her and the baby's new home to bring about the cure for all of that world

the end?

its a possible outcome, an open ended ending, but not an ending

did the ship blow up ? did she or the baby still survive ? did the human project work afterall ? did the baby get to grow up and eventually be crucified?

yes owen's character completes his mission and that is what the film is about but did that world get to change?

maybe and/or who cares

i didn't get to see the change

what? too much for a brilliant writer/director?

take them both to the human project and send the cure out to the world, show news headlines across the globe, war over, all soldiers put down guns, people come out of hiding cheering, 10 years later all is good, everywhere rebuilt, news says anniversary of war, honorable tribute to the girl from her kid and to owen

the end

what's wrong with that?

corrections to the movie:

take out the sci-fi,the girl/the baby/the cure, most of the talk or put that world in a teched-out future

have owen instead try to get away from the war but he must get "beyond tomorrow", meaning get to a different country/world, not just get on a ship to said country/world
