Here’s a drawing I did of Hall of Fame basketball player Bill Walton. Years ago, Greg Land and I and a bunch of other comic book artists were at a restaurant in San Diego after a day at Comic-Con. Greg and I saw the great Bill Walton at a table not far from us. Those other nerds didn’t know or care who he was, but Greg and I are Indiana boys where the saying is, “In 49 other states, it's just basketball …” I had to say hi to him when we left. He was a friendly guy. RIP
