Supergirl - Melissa Benoist

Here’s a drawing I did of actress Melissa Benoist as Supergirl based on a photo by Ali Adler. I only know Melissa from her part in Whiplash, but based on that, I think she will do a good job.

Some have criticized the trailer for the new show saying it looks like a romantic comedy. As a comic book writer-artist and fan, I hope the show is like a romantic comedy. I don’t think super-hero shows/movies have to be done only one way. The more different it is from anything I’ve seen before, the better.
